The Mountain West schedule has been finalized (some games will likely move to Fridays) and the Broncos have two byes for the first time in a long time. Let’s take a look at their schedule and do a bit of analyzing.
Boise State 2019 Football Schedule
8/31 vs. Florida State (game played in Jacksonville, Florida)
9/7 vs. Marshall
9/14 vs. Portland State
9/21 vs. Air Force*
9/28 Bye
10/5 @ UNLV*
10/12 vs. Hawaii*
10/19 @ BYU
10/26 Bye
11/2 @ San Jose State
11/9 vs. Wyoming
11/16 vs. New Mexico
11/23 @ Utah State
11/30 @ Colorado State
The second bye week is a rarity for Boise State. They are spread out nicely and should allow the Broncos to be fresh for their last five games. The Broncos play three straight home games in September, which will be nice for those attending the game. Also, Boise State is the only team in the conference to finish the season with back-to-back road games. It is far to early to break down each game, but I think the schedule is favorable for a team that will be breaking in a new running back and quarterback.
