The run of great wide receivers at Colorado State is not going to end anytime soon. The Rams received a big commitment from Marietta, Georgia receiver Jeremiah Pruitte. Pruitte is 6’6”, 218 lbs, and had offers from Power 5 schools like Purdue, Indiana, Louisville, Pittsburgh, and Syracuse.
It’s that time of the year again. The NFL Scouting Combine is occurring today through the rest of the weekend. One of the several Mountain West players attempting to stand out if former Wyoming safety Andrew Wingard. Wingard expects that like much of his career, he’ll be overlooked, but he intends to impress scouts.
Last week’s quick departure of tight ends coach Nick Jones left a holy on the Air Force football staff, one promptly filled by Auburn graduate Jonathan Wallace. Wallace was a quarterback and wide receiver with the Tigers, and served as team captain for the team in 2015.
I do not want this to go unnoticed. The more often than not one-bid league that is Mountain West baseball is off to a strong start. Air Force shocked highly-ranked East Carolina all the way out in North Carolina.
Horrible News. RIP Romell Jordan.
Tavai will not go through drills at the combine
Hawaii LB Jahlani Tavai will not work out at the combine or pro day as he recovers from shoulder surgery, source said. The plan is for him to hold a personal workout in April. A tackle machine in college.— Tom Pelissero (@TomPelissero) February 27, 2019
