New Mexico proposed budget bill impacts UNM athletics funding

UNM’s decision to cut its mean’s and women’s ski teams, women’s beach volleyball team, and men’s soccer team may affect the state funding it receives this year. A state bill currently being debated provides $4.6 million to UNM athletics only if it reinstates the 4 teams. The state House will vote on the bill this week.
