It’s Monday and Mountaintop View is back in action bringing a fresh set of links. MWC news is approaching offseason status and therefore not as frequent. Nevertheless, we will keep searching all corners of the internet for news. Check out what we compiled for today as well as some of our content coming to you this week.
This “too early” compilation of the top 50 2019 players includes a few Mountain West players. Take a look to see where David Woodward and Jordan Love land.
Another list sprinkled with MWC players (now former players). In total, it appears 14 players from 8 teams will be doing their best to raise their draft stock at the event.
They couldn’t wait. After the terrible season the Rams endured in 2018, they can get an early start on 2019 with “spring ball” in mid-February. It’s new year and coaches and players alike are motivated to get better.
Accountability is certainly a word you hear thrown around a lot in the sports world. What will it look like at Colorado State going forward? 10 players will lead groups of the team, and the leaders range from various positions and every class. Bobo’s goal is to have a program that is player-led for many of its aspects and this may be the first step toward that.
NCAAF Nation releases their all-MWC recruit team.
Their list looks fairly similar to ours. Either they are more biased than us. Or perhaps we aren’t that biased.
