Baseball Coaches Pick San Diego State to Win 2019 Mountain West Title
It’s that time of the year. Most of college baseball opens the 2019 season this Friday, and the Mountain West baseball coaches have picked San Diego State to win the conference this spring. Not too surprising considering the Aztecs won the conference tournament the last two years. The Aztecs received four first-place votes, while Nevada received two first-place votes.

New Mexico outfielder Jared Mang was voted preseason Player of the Year. Pitcher of the Year went to Fresno State’s Edgar Gonzalez, and Freshman of the Year went to San Diego State third baseman Casey Schmitt.
Peak Perspective: Why should the MWC want to keep SJSU and remain in the FBS?
