Mountain West football players and coach of the year

Mountain West Announces 2019 Football All-Conference Teams and Individual

The Mountain West announced its annual awards, both all-conference teams and individual awards. No real massive surprises, although the mystery surrounding the offensive player of the year award is over. This wasn’t a banner year for statistical giants in the Mountain West from an offensive standpoint, but San Jose State’s Josh Love won the award. Read on to get mad about how the coaches and media voted.

UNM settles lawsuit in case linked to Davie suspension

On a not as flattering note, New Mexico has settled a lawsuit brought forward by a woman who alleged that the school didn’t properly handle their investigation after she reported that she was raped by a former player. Documents do not show what New Mexico paid.

Sources: Colorado State to announce Mike Bobo’s termination

It appears Bobo is Mountain West football firing #3 this silly season. Mike Bobo came to the Rams from Georgia and immediately raised the program’s profile in recruiting. Despite great offenses, his defenses were often horrible. For whatever reason, it never really all came together for Bobo in Ft. Collins.
