The regular season is complete and we know that the Mountain West will have seven bowl eligible teams. Last year Wyoming was left home even though they were bowl eligible, but it does not look like that will be a problem this year. Let’s take a looks at how our team sees things finishing up.
Zach:
Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State
Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs. BYU
New Mexico Bowl: Wyoming
Potato Bowl: Nevada
Arizona Bowl: Utah State
Cheez-It Bowl: San Diego State
Armed Forces Bowl: Air Force
I decided to make a few changes this week. I think the Cheez-It Bowl will look past the Jordan Love factor and pick a team with a better resume. I think we will likely see San Diego State or Air Force there. I’m still projecting Boise State to the Las Vegas Bowl even though there have been a few whispers that ESPN and the Mountain West might have something bigger in store for the Broncos.
Bruce:
Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State
Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs. BYU
New Mexico Bowl: Wyoming
Potato Bowl: Nevada
Arizona Bowl: San Diego State
Cheez-It Bowl: Utah State
Armed Forces Bowl: Air Force
Mike:
Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State
Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs. BYU
New Mexico Bowl: Wyoming
Potato Bowl: Nevada
Arizona Bowl: Utah State
Cheez-It Bowl: San Diego State
Armed Forces Bowl: Air Force
Things are pretty clear (or so I say) at the conclusion of the regular season. I’m not sold on SDSU being the team selected to the Cheez-It, but they are as good of a guess as anyone.

Not a whole lot happened this week that would warrant a change to my bowl projections. However, a lot can happen this week. Mainly the AAC Championship game and the chance that Boise State could still get into the Cotton Bowl.
