It’s Monday and we are back in action. News and updates are moving at a slower pace than during football season but there’s still action happening all over the Mountain West and we have you covered. Check it out.
Kade Remsberg continues to show the PAC-12 what they missed out on. He ran for an astounding 178 yards and scored a touchdown on a fourth-quarter fourth-down play to keep this game out of reach. Remsberg went over 1,000 yards for the season and the Falcons got a big win over a P5 opponent.
Outgoing seniors from a football team is always bittersweet, for the fans, the coaches, and the players themselves. The Daily Aztec spent time talking to six of the San Diego State seniors about their years in the program. Tezino is clearly painted as the heart and soul of this team, the emotional leader. One of Washington’s favorite games was one in which he didn’t even play, and Agnew and Barcoo are trying to save their final reflections for after the bowl game.
A must-read for football fans and historians alike. San Jose State and Williamette set sail to the Islands to play football games against Hawaii and receive a large payout. What they never would have imagined was an attack on Pearl Harbor. Ivan Maisel recaps the powerful story here.
Rarely do we hear a story about the wives of football coaches, who are doing the hard work that doesn’t get noticed. Another great read and one where it’s better the story tell itself:
