You’ve probably heard by now that the first College Football Playoff Poll of the season was released Tuesday after the Duke-Kansas basketball game. San Diego State is ranked in the other polls, but not the poll that matters. You can bet the Aztecs will use that as motivation.

The Colorado State women’s basketball team smoked Chadron State in their opener, and received a boost in the stands from 2,500 elementary school students. Neat story, more programs should try to get kids more involved.
