Week 14: How to Watch, Who Will Win, and Game Thread

It’s the final week of the regular season.

NCAA Football: Colorado State at Wyoming Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

It’s the last week of the season. It somehow both went on for a long time and seems like just yesterday we were waiting to get going. Though there isn’t much at stake this week in terms of standings, there’s a lot at stake in terms of pride, bragging rights, and rivalry trophies. We got a Friday game and Saturday games for you! Take a look.

Friday, November 29th

Boise State vs Colorado State (1:30 PM MT) | Coverage: CBS Sports Network

Saturday, November 30th

Wyoming vs Air Force (12:00 PM MT) | Coverage:

UNLV vs Nevada (1:00 PM MT) | Coverage:

Utah State vs New Mexico (2:00 PM MT)| Coverage:

BYU vs San Diego State (7:00 PM MT) | Coverage: CBS Sports Network

Fresno State vs San Jose State (8:30 PM MT) | Coverage: ESPN2

Army vs Hawaii (9:59 PM MT) | Coverage: CBS Sports Network

Game Previews:

  • Hawaii
  • Boise State
  • Wyoming

What to Watch For:

  • Boise State/Colorado State: Can the Broncos avoid the let down after their huge win last week and keep their faint NY6 hopes alive? Can the Rams just avoid the let down of another loss?
  • Wyoming/Air Force: This should be a great matchup of two very good teams. If AFA can win, they’ll get to ten wins and be deserving of a top 25 ranking.
  • UNLV/Nevada: The battle for a CANNON! The Rebels can salvage their season a bit if they beat in-state rival.
  • Utah State/New Mexico: Can the Aggies bounce back after their embarrassing loss? Will the Lobos win a game again this season?
  • BYU/San Diego State: How will the Aztecs play now that they can’t win their division? History shows they often letdown.
  • Fresno State/San Jose State: In the “Morale Boost Bowl”, one team will have a silver lining with a disappointing season and another will only have disappointment.
  • Army/Hawaii: Nothing speaks to rivalry weekend like Army and Hawaii right? right? Anyway, it will be interesting to see if Hawaii plays conservative and if they can make it through a game with using just one QB.
