Game Previews:
What to Watch For:
- SDSU/Fresno: At the start of the season, this seemed like the matchup that would’ve decided the West division. Now the Bulldogs need it for their bowl hopes and the Aztecs need it to stay atop the division.
- Hawaii/UNLV: This one should be all Hawaii, but if UNLV has a last gasp of air, it will be this game coming off a bye week.
- Wyoming/Utah State: It’s defense vs offense. Which one will prevail? The Aggies are basically in elimination mode, needing to win this week to keep the following game against Boise State have more meaning. The Cowboys won’t be rolling over though.
- Air Force/Colorado State: Rivalry games always carry a bit extra but there isn’t much reason to think the Falcons won’t be in control most of the game. The Rams offense is real, but so is the Falcon defense.
- New Mexico/Boise State: This one shouldn’t be close, like at all. The Broncos have had a habit of playing to their level of competition this season but even factoring that in, the outcome should not be in doubt.
