Broncos and Cowboys have a tough defensive battle.

Like Coach Harsin said, it wasn’t pretty in a lot of areas but they did just enough to win. The Cowboy defense was top notch and the BSU one looked in form as well. Read all about it.

While Warriors and Spartans have a shootout.

Chevan Cordeiro made his first career start and came away with the win. In between there was an actual football game and it was hard fought by both the Rainbow Warriors and the Spartans. It was a defense optional, offense mandatory in this one.

Wolf Pack clinch a bowl as Aztecs struggle.

When one team looks good, the other often looks not so good. This was the case today as Nevada topped SDSU. The Aztecs couldn’t get anything going on offense and the Wolf Pack edged out a close one to make it back to a bowl in their up and down season.

Utah State takes care of business against Fresno State.

In yet another close MWC showdown, this too came on a game-winning FG by the Aggies. This all but killed the hopes of Fresno State making a bowl game. Fresno State fought back from a late deficit to make this a nail-bitter but the Aggies made plays (and kicks) when it counted.
