Week 10 of the college football is behind us and it certainly was an eventful one for the Mountain West. All four Mountain West games were decided by a total of 11 points, with Nevada scoring the largest margin of victory with a four point win over San Diego State, causing the Aztecs to fall out of both polls.
Despite an ugly victory, Boise State moved up two spot in both the AP and Coaches Poll to come in at number 19. The Broncos trail both Cincinnati and Memphis who come in at numbers 17 and 18. The Aztecs are still receiving 7 votes in the AP Poll and 32 points in the Coaches Poll. Air Force received two votes in the AP Poll and 25 in the Coaches Poll. Wyoming received one vote in the Coaches Poll.
The American has a few games to keep an eye on, as Navy takes on Notre Dame. Cincinnati and Memphis could both have potential trap games against Houston and South Florida. SMU is on a bye. Stay tuned this Tuesday, as this article will be update with the College Football Playoff rankings.
Update: Boise State moved up one spot to #21 in the College Football Playoff Rankings. The Broncos will host New Mexico in their final home game of the season. Memphis moved up to #18 this week and will be heavily favored when they travel to Houston. Cincinnati is the Group of Five favorite at #17 and will also be heavily favored when they travel to USF. Navy is ranked #23 and travel to #15 Notre Dame. Appalachian State entered the rankings at #25 and will travel to take on Georgia State.
