Game 2 - Nevada 3, Wyoming 31
Game 3 - Hawaii 45, New Mexico 31

Game 5 - Utah State 7, Air Force 31
Game 6 - San Diego State 20, UNLV 17
Game of the Week - San Jose State at Army
A harder decision this week. Some good games in the conference.
First, Colorado State/Fresno State was a very entertaining game where the Rams pulled off the upset. The implications of the loss for the Bulldogs could mean that the defending MWC champs might actually have a losing season, sitting at 3-4 with games @Hawaii, Utah State, @San Diego State, Nevada, and @San Jose State remaining.
Second, the San Diego State/UNLV game was a close game where the Rebels gave the Aztecs a real scare. A missed 42 yard field goal by UNLV with under a minute left was the only reason this game did not go into overtime. That means, the Aztecs escaped with a win. As for UNLV, Tony Sanchez and the Rebels really could’ve used that win.
That said, my game of the week nomination goes to San Jose State/Army. First off, San Jose State has 3 non-conference wins this season. Brent Brennan had 3 wins in his first two seasons at San Jose State - combined. It was a very good game with contrasting styles as Army had over 300 yards and 3 TD’s on the ground while San Jose State had over 300 yards and 3 TD’s in the air. Also, San Jose State is 4-4 and has a chance to be 6-6. In a season where Fresno State might not even be 6-6. The Spartans will play meaningful games in November, and could possibly make a bowl game. Lastly, this catch just put this game over the top for me as game of the week.
