California College Athletes Are Officially Getting Paid

A long discussion that has finally been approved after many years of talking about it. California governor Gavin Newsom, and NBA superstar LeBron James met up to finalize the Fair Pay to Play Act. That means that college athletes in California will officially get paid. The move will begin on January 1st, 2023. California is the very first U.S. state to allow college athletes to get paid.
