Mountain West announces 2019-20 Preseason basketball all-conference team
The Mountain West Conference announced their new preseason men’s basketball all-conference team on Tuesday. Utah State Aggie Sam Merrill was selected Preseason Mountain West Player of the Year. Also, San Diego State’s Malachi Flynn was named Preseason MW Newcomer of the Year. Lastly, K.J. Hymes from Nevada garnered Preseason MW Freshman of the Year accolades.

Update on Queta from Coach Smith
Utah State coach Craig Smith said he is confident Neemias Queta will be back on the court soon, but didn’t have an exact timetable. Said it wasn’t an ACL, MCL or meniscus tear.
