Nevada finds peak form in ‘Pinkout’ blowout of Colorado State
The Wolf Pack continued their dominate run against Colorado State Thursday night. 7th ranked Nevada entered this game riding high on a four-game winning streak and they showed no signs of slowing down in this one. They cursed to a 100-60 victory. This game was just the latest example in why Nevada is a top ten ranked team in the nation.
Emptying the Notebook: Lobos lose at UNLV
The up and down season for the Lobos continued Tuesday night against UNLV. Coming off a dominating win over Wyoming, UNM seemed to be coming into this game with some new found confidence. This unfortunately would not carry over into this contest against the Rebels. The major theme that can be taken away from this game is the Lobo’s ability to play from behind, and if the team as the right makeup to play under adversity.
UNM football names Dailey to be new offensive coordinator
The Lobos have found their new offensive coordinator in former Liberty offensive coordinator and quarterback coach Joe Dailey. He made an impression of UNM head coach Bob Davie when the Lobos matched up against Liberty this past season. Dailey does have an extensive football history. He was a former quarterback from both the University of Nebraska and North Carolina. Davie and the Lobos both hope he can help kickstart the offensive.
Boise State hopes to upgrade Albertsons Stadium soon; new name coming for Taco Bell Arena?
Boise is eyeing some upgrades to their existing football stadium. It as long been the goal of Boise Athletic Director Cury Apsey to upgrade parts of the stadium. Apsey is quoted as saying “It’s 100 percent possible, and it’s very much needed.” After two successful season for the Broncos on the field, it’s easy to see why they would be looking to upgrade the stadium.
