Catch up on the MWC Men’s BBall so far.
Geoff Grammer, who is the New Mexico beat writer, does a nice job catching everyone up before conference play begins. Outside of Nevada, Fresno State, and Utah State, the conference hasn’t done much. But that can change for some teams.
Looking at Nevada’s MBB’s 2018, the best year in their history.
Chris Murray takes us through all of 2018 for the Wolf Pack’s men’s team. In case you haven’t heard, that team was very good last season and is very very good this season. Revisit all of the highlights.
Sanford officially named Aggies OC.
It had been all but official for a few weeks, but Mike Sanford is back in the Mountain West, now at Utah State. He was the OC at Boise State on Coach Harin’s original staff, but left after a year for Notre Dame and then parlayed that into a head coaching gig with Western Kentucky. He is a bright offensive mind but will have his work cut out for him with all the offensive personnel changes.
Boise State women start their title defense.
The MWC WBB conference slate starts this week as well and Boise State is the team to beat. They’ll face tough competition and have a target on their backs though, including Wyoming, who is their first opponent.
