Former Bronco added to Pro Bowl

Dallas Cowboys’ standout linebacker Leighton Vander Esch has been added to the NFC Pro Bowl roster after Luke Kuechly withdrew due to injury. The former Boise State star made the Pro Bowl in his rookie season after recording 140 tackles and two interceptions. Vander Esch is 1 of 6 Broncos that will play in the Pro Bowl this season.

Weekly basketball power rankings

UNLV and Boise State are the only remaining unbeaten teams in conference play, but Nevada remains #1 in the weekly power rankings. Nevada beat second-ranked Fresno State handily on Saturday to hold onto its top-ranked spot.

Offseason questions for Boise State

It should be an interesting offseason for the Broncos as they must replace their starting quarterback, starting running back, and top 2 receivers. Replacing the school's all-time leading passer won't be easy, but they've recruited the quarterback position well. The story is similar on defense as they lose some key players, but their success in recruiting should ease the blow.

Mountain West teams are featured in a number of SBNation’s top 100 games of the year, including the conference championship in which Fresno State edged out Boise State.
