Week Four Bowl Projections

The picture isn’t getting any clearer

NCAA Football: Utah State at Michigan State Mike Carter-USA TODAY Sports

Each week members of the Mountain West Connection team will be completing bowl projections. With the lack of bowl tie-ins for the Mountain West, some of these bowl projections required quite a bit of research. We will start with the obvious Mountain West tie-ins and then things get interesting.

Zach: Honestly, this was my hardest week for picks. It is hard to have confidence in any of these picks considering how terrible most of the conference has looked. This is a big week for many teams in the Mountain West.

Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State vs. Cal

Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs. Western Kentucky

New Mexico Bowl: Fresno State vs. Marshall

Arizona Bowl: Wyoming vs. Louisiana-Lafayette

Potato Bowl: San Diego State vs. Western Michigan

Cactus Bowl: Utah State vs. Iowa State

Matt: Sticking with 6, but this whole thing is a mess

Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State v. Arizona State

Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii v. Cincinnati

New Mexico Bowl: Fresno State v. Marshall

Arizona Bowl: Nevada v. Coastal Carolina

Potato Bowl: Utah State v. Buffalo

Cactus Bowl: San Diego State v. Baylor

FatDuckUW: I’m sticking with the projection of a 7th bowl game for the MWC with the Frisco Bowl. I’m trying to be an optimist.

Las Vegas Bowl: Boise State vs Colorado

Armed Forces Bowl: Fresno State vs Memphis

Hawaii Bowl: Hawaii vs North Texas

New Mexico Bowl: San Diego State vs Middle Tennessee State

Potato Bowl: Utah State vs Eastern Michigan

Arizona Bowl: Wyoming vs UL-Monroe

Frisco Bowl: Air Force vs Navy

Mike: I feel like things are getting murkier by the week instead of clearer. Hoping conference games seperate some of the teams a bit.
