Monday again? Let’s look back at the weekend.

NCAA Football: Boise State at Wyoming Troy Babbitt-USA TODAY Sports

It’s Monday. There was football this weekend. Some wins, some losses, some disappointment. Take a look at some articles rolling out to start the week.

Spartans Beyond Football gets a shout out.

Harold Mann wrote on LinkedIn how surprised he was about the program. He was at a job fair and came away impressed by how polite and prepared the student athletes were. It’s worth a read to see all his praises and the program continues to be a huge positive for San Jose State football.

Hawaii wins, knows then can do better.

The Rainbow Warriors got back in the win column on Saturday. They’ll take it, but it doesn’t sound like they were satisfied. Their offensive stats continue to be on the lower end for their offense. Likewise, the defense let an FCS team hang around most of the game.

Rams continue to be biggest MWC surprise, in all the wrong ways.

They beat an SEC team, but lost to FCS Illinois State over the weekend. Even worse, they never really seemed in the game. Now Illinois State is a good football program. but they should never come into CSU’s home turf and exert their will the entire game. Bobo’s seat has to be feeling quite warm right now.

Cowboys should be healthy and ready to roll.

Wyoming is coming off a bye and conference play is coming. They’ve had more than their share of injuries since fall camp but things are looking up now. Take a read to see how close to full strength the Cowboys plan to be going into their game against Boise State.

But Aztecs may be getting less healthy...
