Air Force is off, so only 11 games this week. Action gets started on Thursday with Utah State.

Game 1 - Tennessee Tech (0-2) at Utah State (1-1)

Game Time: 6:00 PM (Mountain)

Spread - N/A

The Aggies are coming off of a beat down that they placed on New Mexico State, 60 to 13. Expect this one to feel like a repeat of that game. Tennesse Tech is not very good in the FCS. Last season, Tennessee Tech finished 1-10.

Game 2 - Hawaii (3-0) at Army (1-1)

Game Time: 10:00 AM (Mountain)

Television - CBS Sports Network

Spread - Army by 6.5

Hawaii is coming off of a 43 to 29 win over Rice. Army is coming off of their first win of the season after the Knights beat Liberty, 38 to 14. While Hawaii has already faced one triple-option team in Navy, this will be a long trip from the islands to head to West Point, New York for an early start.

Game 3 - Boise State (2-0) at Oklahoma State (2-0)

Game Time: 1:30 PM (Mountain)

Television - ESPN

Spread - Oklahoma State by 2.5

One of the best match-ups of Week 3. Two teams that are ranked in the Top 25 square off. So far this season, Boise State has outscored their opponents, 118 to 27, while Oklahoma State has outscored their opponents, 113 to 30.

Game 4 - Wofford (2-0) at Wyoming (1-2)

Game Time: 2:00 PM (Mountain)

Spread - N/A

Last week, the Cowboys were soundly defeated at Missouri, 40 to 13. Wofford brings a triple-option team to Laramie. The Cowboys defense gets a different test this week after struggling in recent weeks versus the passing attacks of Washington State and Missouri.

Game 5 - Colorado State (1-2) at Florida (1-1)

Game Time: 2:00 PM (Mountain)

Television - SEC Network

Spread - Florida by 20.5

The Rams are coming off of a come from behind win against Arkansas where Colorado State scored the last 25 points in the game to come back from being down 18 in the 2nd half. Florida is coming off of a loss to Kentucky, 27 to 16. The first win for Kentucky against the Gators since 1986.

Game 6 - San Jose State (0-2) at Oregon (2-0)

Game Time: 3:00 PM (Mountain)

Television - PAC12 Network

Spread - N/A

The Spartans were shutout by Washington State last week, 31 to 0. Oregon is coming off of a 62 to 14 win over Portland State. Oregon has scored 120 points in their two games this season; that’s good for an average of 60 points per game. This one could get ugly.

Game 7 - Oregon State (1-1) at Nevada (1-1)

Game Time: 5:00 PM (Mountain)

Television - ESPN3

Spread - Nevada by 3.5

Nevada is coming off of a 41 to 10 loss at Vanderbilt. Oregon State is coming off of a 48 to 25 win over Southern Utah. Neither team has shown a very good defense so far. Expect a shootout in Reno.

Game 8 - New Mexico (1-1) at New Mexico State (0-3)

Game Time: 6:00 PM (Mountain)

Spread - N/A

The Lobos are coming off of a loss to Wisconsin, 45 to 14. To their credit, New Mexico hung tough for a half in that game while on the road. Meanwhile, New Mexico State was throttled by Utah State, 60 to 13. In the three games for New Mexico State, the Aggies have scored a total of 30 points while giving up a total of 137 points.

Game 9 - Prairie View (1-2) at UNLV (1-1)

Game Time: 8:00 PM (Mountain)

Spread - N/A

The Rebels ran all over UTEP last week on their way to a 52 to 24 win. Prairie View is coming off of a loss to Sam Houston State, 41 to 32. While this should be another win for UNLV, the Rebels should not overlook the Prairie View Panthers. The Panthers almost knocked off Rice in Week Zero in a game the Panthers led in the 4th quarter, 28 to 19.

Game 10 - Arizona State (2-0) at San Diego State (1-1)

Game Time: 8:30 PM (Mountain)

Television - CBS Sports Network

Spread - Arizona State by 5.5

The Aztecs are coming off of a close win over Sacramento State, 28 to 14. In that game, Christian Chapman was injured, and he’ll miss this game because of the injury. Arizona State is coming off of a big win over Michigan State, 16 to 13.

Game 11 - Fresno State (1-1) at UCLA (0-2)

Game Time: 8:30 PM (Mountain)

Television - FS1

Spread - Fresno State by 1.5

Fresno State lost a close one to Minnesota last week, 21 to 14. UCLA is coming off of a blowout loss to Oklahoma, 49 to 21. The Bruins have not got the running game going yet under Chip Kelly, and the Fresno State defense has been playing very well to start the season. Expect a lower scoring game.

Game of the Week Prediction - Boise State at Oklahoma State

If the Broncos want to lay claim to being the team in the driver’s seat for a NY6 game from the Group of 5, Boise State must win this game. Boise State has a chance to play a game on ESPN on Saturday afternoon in front of the country. A Top 25 match-up. This game is big for Boise State and big for the Mountain West Conference which only has one win so far over the Power 5 this season.

Let us know which game you think will be the Game of the Week in Week Three.
