College football is back! Well, it’s already been here for a few days, but Week 1 begins today and a few Mountain West teams are in action. Here is some reading material from around the conference.
This news seemed to hit a nerve with some Wyoming fans on Twitter, but overall it appears most fans are in favor of it. It should be a good series, but of course 2022 and 2024 are still a ways off. These two programs have been rivals for decades, with BYU winning the most recent contest 24-21 in 2016 in the now defunct Poinsettia Bowl.

The PFT (Personal Fitness Test) at the Air Force Academy is undergoing some changes that will enable some players to pack on more weight to be ready for the grind of football season. The body-fat adjustment waiver might be what the program needs to close the size gap that has been a challenge for the Falcons.
