Vegas has released championship odds for all conferences. It shouldn’t surprise anybody that Boise State leads the way at 1/2 to repeat as champions. Other frontrunners include San Diego State and Fresno State.
You’ll have to wait a bit longer to find out as head coach Troy Calhoun still won’t reveal who will assume the defensive coordinator role after Steve Russ’ departure. It’s unclear whether Calhoun’s coyness is strategy, or the position simply hasn’t been filled yet. Either way, expect Calhoun to be questioned again at media days later this month if he doesn’t provide any clarity before then.
