MWC Recruiting Roundup 5-7-18

52 MWC offers handed out since Wednesday!

NCAA Football: Arizona Bowl-New Mexico State vs Utah State Casey Sapio-USA TODAY Sports

If it seemed like we just posted one of these, that’s because we did. Our last recruiting roundup was on Wednesday, but with this week, we are back on schedule. Even though it was a short week, there were still a ton of new offers handed out. 52 to be exact, which is a TON over 5 day period. It was a close race for who had the most. SDSU was 2nd with 9 offers, no small feat. However, Utah State was able to move ahead by handing out 11 total offers since Wednesday.

Featured Recruit of the Week

WR/DB Jaron Waters

Waters: San Diego State, Fresno State, New Mexico, Colorado State, Hawaii, Nevada

MWCConnection: Which school(s) have you heard the most from and what do you like about them?

Waters: Fresno State. They have a wonderful coaching staff.

MWCConnection: How would you describe your strengths as a player?

Waters: I like to compete and I like scoring every single time I get the ball. On the defensive side I just don’t let no one score on me.
