NCAA Football: Georgia State at Air Force Ray Carlin-USA TODAY Sports

It’s the turn of a new month and the turn of a new day of MWC links:

Meet the man behind the Rams great Wide Receivers.

Coach Alvis Whitted has coached some great WRs, included Rashard Higgins and Michael Gallup. He was a former walk-on and 9 year NFL vet. Whitted has the knowledge of what it takes to excel on the field and the skills at relationship building to communicate it with players who buy in to what he’s saying.

The Athletic’s State of the Program article on the Aztecs.

They are doing a series on the Power 5 and top Group of 5 teams. Boise State was a few weeks back and now San Diego State is getting their turn in the spotlight. High school teammates, now Cowboys gearing up for their senior season.

On the horizon:

  • Wednesday: The MWC Recruiting Roundup. It’s late this week, but like I said, I’ve been out of town and things got delayed.
  • Thursday: Casey and Mike are back with the 3rd installment of the look at the Boise State 2014 recruiting class.
  • End of the week: the round table is back taking an early look at the potential 2019 draft prospects in the MWC.
