Coach Alvis Whitted has coached some great WRs, included Rashard Higgins and Michael Gallup. He was a former walk-on and 9 year NFL vet. Whitted has the knowledge of what it takes to excel on the field and the skills at relationship building to communicate it with players who buy in to what he’s saying.

They are doing a series on the Power 5 and top Group of 5 teams. Boise State was a few weeks back and now San Diego State is getting their turn in the spotlight. It details how the Aztecs are a model of consistency under Coach Long, how they reload year and year at RB, and how the OL is a major strength on the team.

While we may not be catching every edition in the links, we got this one. The latest deals with OL Coach Mark Weber. This is his 5th MWC in his coaching career, plus 2 PAC-12 schools. Also: he loves hotdogs.
High school teammates, now Cowboys gearing up for their senior season.
A cool write up on will be seniors Nico Evans and Adam Pilapil, who were teams back in high school and now are preparing to end their college careers with as many wins as possible.
On the horizon:
- Wednesday: The MWC Recruiting Roundup. It’s late this week, but like I said, I’ve been out of town and things got delayed.
- Thursday: Casey and Mike are back with the 3rd installment of the look at the Boise State 2014 recruiting class.
- End of the week: the round table is back taking an early look at the potential 2019 draft prospects in the MWC.
