As you wake up and read this, the NCAA tourney is over and the NFL draft is still quite a ways a way. There are spring ball updates and Boise State’s Pro Day is today, but the offseason is fully upon us. Here are some of the updates here:
Rypien needs to come out guns blazing for senior season.
He will return as the active leader in passing yards in the nation and brings nearly 3 years worth of starts and experience. However, he will need to avoid another slow starts (didn’t get his first passing TD until October) and find a way to move past the inconsistency and waves of turnovers that have plagued him in his career. One thing is for sure, it isn’t due to lack of work or preparation.

Get to know Juwan Washington before he runs all over your favorite Mountain West team next fall. At this point in their program’s tenure, it is assumed that the Aztecs will reload at the tailback position year in and year out. Washington compiled 759 yards seven TDs and even 2 return TDs last season in a backup role. He looks poised to
Former Warrior becomes a real life warrior and hero.
Aaron Kia, a former offensive lineman, saved a woman in a car accident. The car went into the water and Kia ran in to get her out of the car before the waves got too much of a hold on it. Good for him!
Josh Allen struggled against top competition.
What would this be without a Josh Allen article. It’s an argument everyone has heard before, he struggled against the best teams he played this past year (not unlike Penny). It also details his struggles last year versus some of the top teams on the schedule. Most of all, they compare Allen’s numbers to other top Group of 5 QBs of yesteryear.
