With the first pick of the second round, the Cleveland Browns selected University of Nevada guard Austin Corbett. Corbett, the No. 33 overall pick, was Cleveland’s third pick of the 2018 NFL Draft and was announced by Browns legend Jim Brown.

At 6-4, 306 pounds, Corbett brings size to the line for the Browns, something they desperately need as protecting new quarterback Baker Mayfield will be key. Corbett, who walked on to the team at Nevada, became a four-year starter for the Wolf Pack after red-shirting his first season.
Corbett was praised for his quick and strong hands, but struggles occasionally with timing and leverage. He only played tackle at Nevada, so the move to guard could create a little bit of a learning curve for him.

Corbett joins Oklahoma’s Baker Mayfield, Ohio State’s Denzel Ward, and Georgia’s Nick Chubb as Cleveland draft picks this year.
