The Rebels were oh so close to completing the comeback against Illinois, but it just wasn’t to be. At one point in the game, UNLV found themselves down by 14 points. But they stormed back and came within 3 points of evening the contest. With this loss, the Rebels have now lost 3 straight games at home, dropping their overall record to 4-4. UNLV will look to get things back on track in Saturday’s game against BYU.
Bill Walton is a larger than life personality! Walton payed a visit to Albuquerque this past week and he didn’t disappoint anyone listening to his color commentary on ESPN2. Walton, known for his playing days and being the father of the Lakers head coach Luke Walton. But these days, Walton is known for his off the wall commentary and fun personality!
A famous former QB paid homage to his alma mater this week in a video. In the clip, Carr praised the team for returning the MWC title to Fresno State. Carr is no stranger to MWC titles, as he led the Bulldogs to conference championships in 2012 and 2013. Carr wished his former team good luck in their upcoming meeting with ASU in the Las Vegas Bowl.
