What to Watch For:
- Lobos/Falcons: It’s the battle of the triple option/former but kinda still triple option. Air Force is playing to try to stay on course for bowl eligibility, while New Mexico is just playing. They are really playing for the future and seeing what players can be part the contribution next season.
- Spartans/Aggies: These are simply two teams on drastically different courses this season. The Aggies have been on a mission all year to get into the MWC Championship and if enough things bounce their way, perhaps back door into a NY6 game. The Spartans are trying not to embarrass themselves and are still in the building stages of a new coaching staff.
- Rams/Wolf Pack: Colorado State needs some surprise wins to make a bad season not look as bad. So in theory, they are still fighting for pride and it doesn’t look like the players have fully given up either. Nevada is trying to put the finishing touches on their solid season and the Rams look poised to be their latest victims.
- Rebels/Aztecs: It’s two teams on different paths; noticing a theme for Saturday games this week?
