Tuesday is here and so are we. Take a look at the links we prepared for you to stay up to date on what is happening around the Mountain West.

Wyoming trying to figure things out.

They’ve dominated bad teams and have been dominated by anyone worth their weight in gold. So where does that leave the Cowboys? It’s clear the offense is not going to suddenly play lights out, but instead will be a slow development. The defense that was supposed to keep them in games isn’t quite at that level either. The Cowboys are going to try to figure out just what kind of team they are for the last two-thirds of the season.

Nevada’s defense grades out well this week.

Last week, Nevada lost to Toledo in a shoot out because the defense could’t stop them at all, like ever. This week, the Wolf Pack defense came up big and saved the day for an offense who was just okay this week. Defending the triple option is frustrating and not always easy, but they were up to the task this week. Chris Murray gave them an A.

Most interesting CFB stats.

Chris Vannini of the Athletic takes a look at 18 interesting stats from the weekend or young season. It’s a wide variety of teams and statistics, but Hawaii and SJSU get a mention for their 5 OT game. New Mexico gets a shout out for being the last team in the FBS to attempt a field goal.

Mountain West suspends an official

The MWC released a statement on Monday afternoon saying the official would be suspended for his next two games. People started talking but most were confused as this isn’t something that usually happens. Then, the news broke (by ESPN) that he apparently grabbed and shook a ball boy by the neck (area) during the Air Force/Nevada game. Not good.
