PODCAST: 2017 Boise State football preview

What are the projections for the Broncos this year?

NCAA Football: Boise State at Air Force Isaiah J. Downing-USA TODAY Sports

Jeremy and Matt are here to preview the upcoming 2017 Boise State football season, as chosen by our listeners, social media followers and readeres. The Broncos should be projected to contend for both their division and also the conference, but they lose a good number of pieces on both offense and defense.

They do return QB Brett Rypien goes a long way to help mitigate the losses of RB Jeremy McNichols and WR Thomas Sperbeck. The defense also lost a few players in both the linebacking and secondary groups and that will be the key area to watch as this unit replaces key players from 2016.
