Following an impressive victory against the University of Houston at the Las Vegas Bowl last December, the San Diego State Aztecs are ready for the 2017 season. The Aztecs finished 11-3 and were ranked No. 25 in the AP Top 25 poll at the end of the season.

The Aztecs will start out the new season with their first ever matchup against UC Davis at Qualcomm Stadium on Sept. 2nd. Then, they will travel to the road for the first time when they face Arizona State on Sept. 9th. The Aztecs are 0-10-1 overall against the Sun Devils.

SDSU will travel home and face their second-consecutive Pac-12 opponent against Stanford on Sept. 16th. SDSU is 1-3 overall vs. Stanford and last met in 1988 that resulted in a 31-10 loss for the Aztecs.

San Diego State will begin MW conference play on the road against Air Force on Sept. 23rd. SDSU has won six straight against AFA. They will finish non-conference play when they face Northern Illinois at home on Sept. 30th.

SDSU will continue MW play at UNLV on Oct. 7th. The Aztecs defeated the Rebels 26-7 last season, and have won six of the last seven meetings.

At the halfway point, the Aztecs will play four of their remaining six games at home.

The Aztecs will host Boise State on Oct. 14th at Qualcomm Stadium. Both teams have won two games a piece in this overall series matchup. SDSU will then host Fresno State on Oct. 21st. The Aztecs have won the last two meetings, which includes a 17-3 victory in Fresno last year.

SDSU will travel on the road for a matchup on Oct. 28th vs. Hawai’i. The Aztecs have won five straight games and dominated the Rainbow Warriors, 55-0, last year at home. SDSU will finish road play against San José State on Nov. 4th. The Aztecs have won four straight and defeated the Spartans, 42-3, last year at home.

After a bye week on Nov. 11th, the Aztecs finish the regular season with two home games against Nevada on Nov. 18th and New Mexico on Nov. 25th. SDSU defeated the Wolf Pack, 46-16, last year in Nevada and the Aztecs have won five straight against the Lobos.
