The Nevada Wolf Pack were blessed with a gift when Eric Musselman decided to withdraw his name from consideration for the Cal head coaching job. To say this is big news for the Wolf Pack, and the Mountain West, is an understatement. The league needs to keep quality coaches to get out of the rut of sending just one team to the NCAA Tournament.
For Nevada, this will help them stay in the top part of the Mountain West as long as Musselman is their head coach, and it could convince Cameron Oliver to return to school for another year instead of testing his worth in the NBA Draft as he did last year.
