Should the Mountain West bring back BYU?

The MW and BYU had a pretty messy divorce a few years back, one that probably left a bad taste in quite a few people’s mouths. Mark Knudson from the Coloradan makes a compelling argument that BYU returning to the Mountain West would benefit both parties.

Wolf Pack inching toward first Top 25 appearance since 2007

The Wolf Pack are one of the last undefeated teams left in the country and, after receiving votes in the last AP Top 25 poll, seem primed to take a leap they haven’t in a decade.

This may not seem related to the Mountain West, but this move could have huge ramifications for basketball.

From the outside looking in, it seems like the WAC is dying. Teams like Grand Canyon, New Mexico State, or even Seattle University could make a push to join the Mountain West as basketball-only schools. Keep an eye on this going forward.
