One of the coolest rivalry trophies belongs in the MWC
Spoiler: The winner of Nevada and UNLV gets a CANNON! While I don’t see Nevada having much of a chance, that’s some great motivation.
New CFP ranking were released Tuesday night...
Spoiler: Boise State is the only MWC team to be ranked. They jumped up 2 spots to #23 this week. Downside for them is, they are NOT the highest ranked Group of 5 team currently. And they have quite an uphill climb (up a mountain) to get there. It is highly unlikely they play in a NY6 bowl.
Doak Walker Award announces finalists...
Spoiler: For some illogical reasons, Rashaad Penny was NOT named one of the three finalists, despite having one of the better seasons around the country. Penny, some teammates and coaches responding to the disappointing news.
That’s it for today. Short and sweet... or not so sweet for some stories unfortunately. But at least one team in the MWC will go home with a cannon this week. Seriously, a cannon!
