The Mountain West gets a rare full slate of Saturday games as all 12 teams are in action this week. We will know a lot more about these teams as the FCS matchups are fewer this week with just three such games.
The biggest games of the week are late night affairs as Cal travels to San Diego State and Boise State faces off against Washington State who are fresh off the second-straight year of losing to an FCS team.
However, the most interesting games are one’s that few fans can see thanks in part to the Pac-12 Networks limited distribution. Utah State travels to USC who is in a hot mess after losing badly to Alabama to open the year, they have player suspensions and a fight at practice.
The other Pac-12 Network game is also in Southern California as UNLV takes on UCLA, and we will see if the Rebels have taken the next step in Tony Sanchez’s rebuild project.
Here is the schedule for Week 2, and all times are local.
