The media picked Boise State and San Diego State to win their divisions and over at Football Study Hall their computers agree with that sentiment.

With these being computers and all they dive deep into percentages of getting zero wins to 12 wins, and the conference.

First off, apologizes to Wyoming are the only team who theoretically can win zero games, according to the numbers.

Boise State, San Diego State and Air Force have shot to go undefeated at 5.2, 2.3 and 0.4 percent to run the regular season table. Odds are much better of those teams going 11-1 and that could mean a New Year’s Six bowl game.

Overall, five teams have shot at 11-1 even Utah State, San Jose State and Nevada who are listed at less than one percent chance of doing so.

This next list is conference-only games, and Boise State and San Diego State are the favorites and by nearly two games.

It is interesting to note that four teams — even Fresno State — have a shot at running the table in conference play in the West Division. The Mountain Division is thought to be more competitive but Boise State has a 21.9 percent chance to go undefeated in league play.

What is clear is that Boise State and San Diego State are the clear favorites to win their respective divisions.
