The Hawaii Warriors were already nearly a three-touchdown underdog heading into the their opener against Cal, but things just got worst.

Stephen Tsai of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser is reporting that three contributing players are going to miss the opener due to disciplinary reasons.

The three players who are out are linebacker Jerrol Garcia-Williams, tight end Tui Unga and starting safety Daniel Lewis will not play, per the University of Hawaii.

Garcia-Williams was listed as a co-starter at his position, Unga is a back up tight end and Lewis was expected to start at safety. Replacing Lewis will be fellow junior Austin Gerard.

This is a big blow to the opener for Hawaii and a shame as well as these suspended players will not only miss the season opener but they also will miss out on an amazing opportunity to play college football in Australia.
