Head coach Mike Bobo is going to keep the Colorado State Rams starting Quarter Back a secret until the first play of the Rocky Mountain Showdown. Coach Bobo said he will probably know who the starting quarterback is after reviewing film from practices and the two scrimmages but won’t publicly announce until the last minute.

All three quarterbacks still have a chance according to the coach. Nick Stevens, Faton Bauta, and Collin Hill are all doing good things in practice, but none of them have separated themselves from the others.

The August 11th scrimmage had some good things and bad things from all three quarter backs.

What coach Bobo is looking for is for someone to step up and say that this is my football team. He wants someone who will make the other guys around him better.

The second scrimmage was better from an offensive standpoint and from the quarterback standpoint. Bobo said the QBs had a better day moving down the field. The limited their mistakes and helped the offense to an overall better day.
