The Colorado State Rams scheduled 4 future games against the Vanderbilt Commodores. The series is scheduled to begin in 2020 with the first game in Nashville on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, with Vanderbilt playing in Fort Collins on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2021.
The final two games in the series are scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 27, 2025 in Nashville and Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026 in Fort Collins.
“We have high goals and aspirations for our program, to provide our students with the experience of playing against the best possible competition during their time as a Ram,” said CSU head coach Mike Bobo. “At home and away, our team and our fans can anticipate an aggressive approach to scheduling future opponents.”
The two schools have never met on the football field. The 2020 and 2021 guarantees that the Rams will play an SEC school for five straight years.
The Rams also play the Alabama Crimson Tide in 2017, the Florida Gators in 2018, and the Arkansas Razorbacks in 2019. Between 2016 and 2026 the Rams have scheduled 17 games against Power 5 opponents.
