UNLV and USC will play sooner than first thought

The 1.15 million dollar payday the UNLV Rebels will receive for traveling to LA to play the USC Trojans at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has been rescheduled.

On Friday both schools agreed to bump the meeting in Southern California up a year. Originally slated for August 31st, 2019, the schools will now meet on September 1st, 2018.

The 2018 game with the Trojans is the second confirmed matchup for the Rebels that season. UNLV will welcome the Arkansas State Red Wolves to Las Vegas on September 22nd, 2018. USC now has three confirmed out of conference games for 2018. The Trojans will play at Texas on September 15, and will host Notre Dame on November 24th.

The 2016 UNLV Rebels football season kicks off September 1st when Jackson State comes to Sam Boyd Stadium.
