PODCAST: What is expected for San Jose State without Tyler Ervin?

San Jose State might not take that big of a drop off despite losing their best offensive player in years.

San Jose State does lose Tyler Ervin who seemed to do it all for the Spartans last year, but not is all lost for the Spartans and their offense this year.

They return an experienced quarterback and a good group of receivers and the running game should be adequate. In the West Division anything is possible with there not being a dominant team outside of San Diego State.

The Spartans might have the best quarterback in the West in Kenny Potter, they return nearly all of their defense last year sans the secondary and their receiving corp is extremely deep. The one big issue is finding a replacement or replacements for Tyler Ervin and his production.

A bowl game might be the ceiling for the Spartans and getting there might be a challenge but doable.

Chris: 5-7
