UNLV has added another power conference opponent to its schedule for next year. The latest news comes from CBS Sports' Jon Rothstein is reporting that the UNLV will play the return game they owe to the Oregon Ducks will be played at the Rose Garden in Portland and on Dec. 17.
The UNLV schedule is beefing up and it will be a tough matchup for new head coach Marvin Menzies who is bringing in as much talent as possible after losing multiple players to the NBA Draft and transfers.
These two teams faced of last year at a neutral site location in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand, and the Rebels upset the then-No. 15 Oregon Ducks, 80-69.
Next year's UNLV team will look very different along the bench and the players who will be suiting up.
The Rebels schedule in the middle-to-late December will be a very difficult stretch as they take on Duke on Dec. 10 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, this Oregon game on Dec. 15, then head back home to face a 22-10 Southern Illinois team on Dec. 19 and then on Dec. 22 the Rebels will host Kansas.
