The Utah State vs. Arkansas State game has been moved up one day to Friday Sept. 16, Utah State athletics announced on Monday night.
The game is being changed to accommodate the Mountain West television partners which will air this game at 7 p.m. MT and be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
This now gives Utah State nine games on national television with all eight conference games and now this matchup against Arkansas State. Five are on an ESPN network and those will be announced either within the 12- or six-day window.
The games not yet known for broadcast are a home game against Weber State, at USC and then at BYU. The opener likely will be on a streaming platform or maybe ROOT SPORTS, the USC game will be aired at the very least on the Pac-12 Network and the finale against BYU will be on an ESPN network.
This is an under the radar game that people may not considering watching but they should since the Red Wolves won the Sun Belt by going 8-0 in league play and ended up going 9-4 overall.
These two teams also have a history by playing six games against each other with each team taking three games each. They both were in the Big West and also the Sun Belt Conference for five of those games, and these two played in 2014 in Jonesboro, Arkansas, where the Red Wolves won in overtime, 21-14.
