Another set of college football odds have been released from the South Point sportsbook in Las Vegas. These are ridiculously early lines and there is a lot of things that can change from now until not only games in Week 1 but especially for games that are played past Halloween and into Thanksgiving weekend.
Odds have already been placed on Colorado State's and Hawaii's opener with both being considered an underdog against their respective season-opening opponents.
The latest set of odds has three games getting odds.

BYU Cougars at Boise State Broncos (-11.5)
This number seems large on the surface but after thinking about it makes sense. First off, Boise State is at home against the Cougars where the Broncos have never lost to BYU.
The Broncos also have a more stable program at the moment with returning talent and coaching staff. Boise State does have a new offensive and defensive coordinator, but head coach Bryan Harsin is still there for his third season. Boise State also returns their starting quarterback, running back and one of the best wide receivers in Thomas Sperbeck.
BYU has a completely new coaching staff with Kalani Sitake taking over after being a defensive coordinator at Utah and Oregon State, but there is also the wild card of former BYU quarterback, and Heisman trophy winner, Ty Detmer who is the offensive coordinator in what is his very first college football coaching job.
The quarterback situation is also not settled as Taysom Hill is back for his sixth-year of eligibility but he is still recovering from a lisfranc injury, but they do have Tanner Mangum who Bronco fans remember as he helped BYU top Boise State last year.

Utah State Aggies at BYU Cougars (-1)
The Aggies being a one-point underdog has a lot to do with the same details mentioned above on how BYU is breaking in a new staff and their quarterback situation is not clear.
Utah State also gets an edge due to BYU's tough schedule which is comparable to any in a Power Five conference, and when Utah State is probably the eighth toughest team on one's schedule the entire slate is tough.
With being a one-point underdog means that the Aggies would be a home and neutral-site favorite over the Cougars.
Nevada Wolf Pack at UNLV Rebels (+1.5)
This game making the list is clearly because the sportsbook is in Las Vegas, but the small spread means that this line is probably an educated guess by making the Wolf Pack the favorite for the Fremont Cannon because they had the better year last year. However, Nevada has a very good chance to be the better team.
With this game being late in the year it is almost fruitless to make some sort of prediction. The one thing from each side we know almost for sure is that running back James Butler will be the featured player for the Wolf Pack and the UNLV receiving corp will be tough to stop as they are led by Devonte Boyd.
