With a new head coach to a program is typically followed by players leaving the program. The latest UNLV player to transfer is sophomore Jordan Cornish.
Per source #unlvmbb SO guard Jordan Cornish is requesting his release. This season he averaged 21.6 mins a game, 6.2 pts, 2.5 rebs @News3LV

He is the second player to transfer since the end of the season, the other is Dwayne Morgan who announced just over a ago he was leaving Las Vegas, plus there is Stephen Zimmerman who has hired an agent and is off to the NBA.
These changes are common but UNLV has lost three of its four players from its 11 ranked 2014 recruiting class, and leaving somewhat of a talent gap for new head coach Chris Beard.

Goodluck Okonoboh: Transferred
Dwayne Morgan: Transferred
Jordan Cornish: Transferred
Patrick McCaw: ???
With multiple players gone from the current roster does leave Beard with just six scholarship players heading into next year in Ben Carter, Derrick Jones, Patrick McCaw, Tyrell Green, Chris Obekpa and Jalen Poyser. Plus, there is some rumblings that Obekpa and McCaw could leave the program.
Beard might have his work cut out for him in his first year on the UNLV sideline in what could be a rebuilding year for the Rebels.
