The Nevada Wolf Pack turned in a spectacular performance tonight in Reno as they defeated the Vermont Catamounts 86-72 in the CBI semifinals. The win advances the Wolf Pack to the best-of-three CBI Finals where they will face the Morehead State Eagles.

The Wolf Pack continued their great shooting performances of the previous two games as they shot 53 percent from the field and shot 50 percent (6 of 12) from the three-point. The defense for Nevada also played well tonight as they limited the Catamounts to just 39 percent shooting from the field.  Nevada never trailed throughout the game but the Catamounts did cut the Wolf Pack lead to six at the midway portion of the second half but Marqueze Coleman completed a three-point play that sparked a 11-4 scoring run that increased Nevada's lead to 13 at the eight-minute mark of the second half. From there, it was all Nevada as they went on to win their third straight game which is their longest winning streak of the season.

For Nevada, Cameron Oliver lead the way as he scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds tonight. Oliver has now scored in double figures in each of the last ten games. Elsewhere, DJ Fenner scored 21 points, Marqueze Coleman scored 20 points and Tyron Criswell chipped in with 11 points.

Nevada now will travel east to Kentucky to play Morehead State in Game 1 of the CBI Finals on Monday Night. Game 2 will be played next Wednesday night in Reno at the Lawlor Events Center and if necessary, Game 3 will be played on Friday April 1st in Morehead, KY. The CBI Finals will be televised on ESPNU starting on Monday.
