The Mountain West tournament continues on with the semifinal matches are set and only two of the top seeds remain in San Diego State and Fresno State one game away from the conference title.
San Diego State made it this far by topping Utah State in a closer than expected game on Thursday, and their defense stepped up late to force the Aggies to miss their final eight shots to advance. Nevada had a huge game from freshman Cameron Oliver possibly having the game of the tournament with 26 points and 15 rebounds.
Colorado State got a legitimate win over Boise State and are now the lowest seed reaming in the tournament, and Fresno State dispatched of the home UNLV team in the other quarterfinal match.
